Jacqueline Pfeffer Merrill, Ph.D.

Dr. Jacqueline Pfeffer Merrill is director of the Campus Free Expression Project at the Bipartisan Policy Center. She advises senior college leaders on approaches to fostering a campus culture that is diverse, inclusive, and open to robust intellectual exchange. Her articles and essays have appeared in Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, and Perspectives on Political Science. She is a contributing editor at Paideia Times and a trustee of the Association of Core Texts and Courses. She holds a B.A. (First Class Honours) from the University of Calgary and her M.A. and Ph.D. from Duke University.
