Amy Black, Ph.D.

Dr. Amy E. Black is professor of political science at Wheaton College (IL). She is a specialist in American government, and her teaching and research interests include religion and politics, women in politics, fostering civil dialogue, the Presidency and Congress. In addition to numerous publications, she speaks regularly at conferences and symposia, college campuses, and churches. She was an adviser and contributor to the Colossian Forum’s Political Talk curriculum. She serves on advisory boards for the Council of Christian Colleges & Universities, Christians in Political Science, and the Initiative on Faith and Public Life at the American Enterprise Institute. She holds a B.A. in government from Claremont McKenna College and Ph.D. in political science from M.I.T.
